When our adoption was totally final and we received the paperwork, our son was so relieved. I could just see it on his face. I said...it was never in question...he said I just want the paperwork done. By that time he was 15 and understood maybe more than I did at the time.
He has one boy and is the best Dad I know.

They are 15 and 16 now Yes and they have "new" brothers and sisters, sister 45, brother and sister ages 41 and brother age 40. Our oldest daughter takes great delight in introducing her new siblings to friends as her brother and sister.
