All taxes are paid out of profits. No profits. No tax revenue. Without profits, you have no way to pay taxes. Non-profit companies pay no taxes and they do not pay their fair share.

And even if you look at personal income tax for individual employees, you only pay taxes out of your profits. These profits are income minus deductions. That means you are only taxed personally on your net personal profit on income. Without profits, there is no tax revenue. And that makes perfect sense since you cannot squeeze blood out of a turnip. No profits means no money for taxes.

A healthy well funded government can only occur if profits are encouraged and promoted.
