NBCUniversal is in talks to buy Microsoft Corp. out of their jointly owned MSNBC.com website, NBC News said Thursday, in a deal that would complete the unwinding of a software-media partnership long regarded as an awkward holdover from the dawn of the Internet.
"Discussions are taking place," said Amy Lynn, director of communications at NBC News, which is owned by Comcast Corp.
The talks were first reported by Adweek. A person close to the situation said there is no deal yet. A Microsoft spokesman had no comment.

When Walker wins June 5th in Wisconsin they will be in melt down mode.
You would think the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) would be interested in buying out Microsoft’s interest.
But, on the other hand, MSNBC is already spewing their Marxist party line and it doesn’t cost them one red kopek.
Let them go get honest work for a change. Not that I'd buy a burger that was prepared by any one of them.
Remember when MSNBC was created in the 90s and it was supposed to be new, high tech and innovative? It was disappointing to see it immediately start spewing leftist propaganda.
