Perhaps, but evidence from the primaries doesn't support your thesis, except on the Democrat side of the ledger. My own guess is that turnout will be slightly off of 2008's record, but GOP turnout will still be quite robust.

Nonsense. Never before in my lifetime has the average American been more aware of how much the actions of government effect their lives and their future. People don't like the way things are and they think government has caused it. They will get out to vote for change.
