Lady Gaga has canceled her sold-out show in Indonesia over security concerns after Muslim hard-liners threatened violence if the pop diva went ahead with her "Born This Way Ball," promoters said Sunday.
The Islamic Defenders Front said Lady Gaga's sexy clothes and provocative dance moves would corrupt youth in the world's most populous Muslim country.
The group said supporters had bought tickets to the concert and planned to enter and force it to be stopped. It also threatened that thousands of protesters would confront the singer on her way from the airport.
Police had said they would only issue the required permits for the concert if Lady Gaga agreed to tone things down. Instead, she pulled the plug on the show, which had sold out with more than 50,000 tickets.
"With threats if the concert goes ahead, Lady Gaga's side is calling off the concert," Minola Sebayang, a lawyer for concert promoter Big Daddy, told reporters Sunday.
"This is not only about Lady Gaga's security, but extends to those who will be watching her."

I still don't know why islam if viewed so favorably by liberals.
Islam is the antidote to western secularism; I can’t wait until they do the same to her concerts here.
Refunds?
Gee. Harsh reality for Weirdo.
Funny how GAGA won’t say a word about Muslim intollerance or treatment of women but if a Conservative group dared to even hold up a sign in protest the dreaded HOMOPHOBIA would rear it’s ugly head.

Because the Christians won't cut your head off if their religion is slighted.
Not funny, just classic liberal hypocrisy, that I am getting oh so tired of, stopped laughing a long time ago..
Well, first I think the lesson here is, it will take serious violence and lunacy if we ever hope to clean up America from the psychological and emotional trash that is now almost genetically passed on to our kids and secondly, the enemy can always point that way when trying to give the LSM words to print so the annihilation of anything good, sacred and holy can be achieved.
Do you support this violence?
Been there, have stayed with a Muslim biz associate there. We discussed the Bali bombing (two weeks before). They are upset when a western gal wears a short skirt or bikini at the beach. It really flaunts against their religion. Yet we don’t think twice about going there dressed”normally” for us. But when I see a full burka at an airport, I am as uncomfortable as hell ...(what’s under that, a woman or a man with a 50 cal?). our conclusion that night? When in Sumatra, respect the local customs. And when in USA do same, no bikinis in public there, no burkas at airports here!. Sending Ga Ga there for a risqué show would be like sending a Muslim Brotherhood bomb-making club to an NRA convention here. There are plenty of places to put on a mostly nude Ga Ga show in the world (my back yard?) ... But going to the center of the largest Muslim population with that show, even scheduling there it, was brazenly stupid.
Did Gaga hook up with Turdi?
“Wonder how she can use this to explain the tolerance of islam to her fans?”
Good point; on another positive note it shows the failure of liberals to spread Western post-Christian decadence around the globe. The freaks can run endless charities raising money for Indonesian tsunami victims, but they still can’t play in Indonesia...
They won’t be a favorite if they begin impacting the American sin industry.
Mr. Gaga is one of many gross American cultural exports. If Americans won’t starve them to death through rejection, maybe people of other countries will do it.
You have that part wrong. This is a brillant idea to tell the world what islamicfascism will spread to the rest of the world. We are all going to hear/read about this in the tabloids for weeks! God bless America!
Mind my tag line, it’s a true story.
No, but I perceive you agree with my assessment
