Bruce Willis calls Republican Party nominee Mitt Romney an "embarrassment" in a new interview with Esquire magazine and says he doesn't care which side wins in November. "Yeah, Romney. He's just such a disappointment, an embarrassment," Willis told the magazine. "Chin up, hair up. He's just one of those guys, one of those guys who says he's going to change everything and he'll get in there, and they'll smile at him and introduce themselves: 'We're Congress, we make sure nothing changes,'" Willis went on. "He won't do it. He can't. Everybody wants to be Barack Obama. And what did he change?"

What the Democrat Party has set up is a whirlwind. I would not be surprised if they have decided to help ensure that a Repubican wins. The next four years are going to be a question of either shoring up a badly damaged ship, or, sinking the ship quickly and seeing who and what stays afloat. War, famine, death and pestilence are likely to intensify.

Now that the despot, 0bama the Tyrant, has demonstrated to the world that the US can, under certain leaders, betray its best friends and allies, abandon its principles and undermine its own sovereignty, what impression will put our national ethic to rights? The Democrats, RINOs, media and leftover 60s terrorist radicals profess a corruption akin to the old, decrepit things that were sought by the King of Sparta of “The 300” fame.

We need a can do attitude, with a confidence in people who are both skilled and determined to fix what’s broken and to tear out the bad as needed. We have the enemies of freedeom in our government, media, schooling, and citizenry, who are glad to watch the world burn—including their own houses. Those of us who are not amused with this willful blindness, while not silent, are not as willing to toe the line when that line includes a number of people who aim to infiltrate, divide and destroy. It is no accident that patriotic parades, movies and celebrations are done away with.

At some point, people will be forced to realize that they do not get it both ways—to protest during the day but be well fed, protected, cared for and possessed of broadband connectivity and technology. Hopefully, some of the rugged patriots and muscular America lovers will be there at the ready to work, lead and fight to reconquer this land. For the others who wish to continue their slide, may they retreat to their 1000 years of darkness without us and be on their way about it.

I say shame on them all who have done this evil to America. You who are among them do not deserve this country’s benefits. You certainly do not deserve the blood of those who have died for it. You do not deserve to even utter the name of the United States of America, even in a whisper.

You will not taste the freedom I have grown up with and experienced. You will not know the insatiable knowledge of principles and civility. You will not have the way of life that breathes open air and purity of purpose. And you will not claim pride of accomplishment for yourselves or for your heirs. You may say the word liberty, but you will not learn its definition any more than you can further its cause.

For those who have died in the name of the United States of America, we say a humble thanks that your combat boots have graced this land. You are not forgotten. This May 30th, we remember. There are those of us whose lives your service and sacrifice have been made wonderful. Your lives are and will be forever a celebration of America for those of us who know America.

While I understand where he is coming from and agree, it is vital to the survival of the USA to defeat Obozo by any means possible, even if by a RINO.

I disagree. There is no real difference between Obama and Romney policy-wise; in fact, replacing Obama w/ Romney will make one thing disappear: the powerful polarizing effect that causes the opponents to stand together. (In fact, take note of how Congress does NOT oppose Obama on anything, not with any real force, therefore we can conclude that Congress is not Obama's opponent but rather ally.)

Why? YES. YES I DID.

Fiction - the form of any narrative or informative work that deals, in part or in whole, with information or events that are not factual, but rather, imaginary—that is, invented by the author or actors.

Why would you believe anything someone that does this for a living would say? How can you tell when they are not just doing their job, or using their job skills to try to persuade you to different thinking?

You can believe what you want.

the “Die Hard” actor made it clear he was sick of both political parties.

Even most of those drooling in cups have come to realize both the 2 beltway party's are corrupt to the core and out for themselves. I'd like to see 95 percent of them in prison.

“I’m a Republican only as far as I want a smaller government, want less government intrusion,” he said at the time, before adding that both parties had ceased to be fiscally responsible. “

We're not ever going to get small, less intrusive government by traditional means. They've built walls of protection for themselves..

It's why there are more unionized government employees at every level now, than in the private sector.

It's why government now controls the air, the ground, your lawnmower, insects, the food you eat, business, energy, you name it and tell the American people to F-off. Government controls and regulates everything, as they continually ramp up for more control.

It is Romney who is inferior to Bruce Willis, and trolls are the people who get banned, at last count that was mostly people who worship Romney as anything more than a desperate Hail Mary pass, or in your case trying to convince us that Romney is the dream candidate for conservatives and that freerepublic is populated and operated by trolls.

No, I refuse. Not anymore. I’m not voting for someone just to vote against someone else anymore. I don’t care what people think of that. I despise Obama as much as any of you, but I’m simply NOT going to vote for Romney just because he isn’t Obama.

I’ve done that enough, and the more I and you and everyone else keeps doing it, the more RINO POS we’ll all get. And Romney is a RINO POS.

Why? YES. YES I DID. [equate the art of fiction with lying]

Well, that's far and away the most ignorant remark I've heard in a very long time. Logically you would have to say that any painting or image in any other media, of an unspecified person, is also a "lie." And therefore a sin. Poems too. And parables. Shakespeare, Milton, Michelangelo...Jesus -- all liars?

How can you tell when they are not just doing their job, or using their job skills to try to persuade you to different thinking?

How can one tell...? If you can't, you have a second serious problem there.

Paris Hilton threaded the needle also, after endorsing Governor Palin, Paris was hired to do what was intended to be a harsh anti-McCain ad about "the old guy". (or something)

Paris managed to neuter the ad, and make it kind of neutral, which infuriated the ad creator.

Yes, he is an actor, which means he makes his living creating fantasy for dullards, lying and making boatloads of money for it.
He lies for a living. Why anyone would listen to anything he has to say outside of his profession is beyond my understanding.

Questions:
What difference is there between an actor and a fantasy writer then, given both "makes a[] living creating fantasy for dullards"?
Or do you likewise assert that the fiction writer also lies for a living?
Furthermore, doesn't the "why listen to someone talking outside their profession" philosophy automatically discount the unemployed? Wouldn't it also reject out-of-hand the homeless man who claims that property taxes are unreasonable and unethical?

Fiction - the form of any narrative or informative work that deals, in part or in whole, with information or events that are not factual, but rather, imaginary—that is, invented by the author or actors.
Why would you believe anything someone that does this for a living would say?

Maybe because the author is dealing with a philosophical situation; your mode-of-thought rejects hypothetical situations... and parables.
In fact, let's take one famous teller of parables: Jesus. Given that a parable is a fiction then, by your own words, you should not believe what he has to say using them, no?

How can you tell when they are not just doing their job, or using their job skills to try to persuade you to different thinking?

Maybe by their fruits?
Maybe by the message of their fictional work... like this:

Or this:

Or this:

But perhaps the ultimate foolishness of your stance is to equate imagination with lies; wouldn't that make the imaginative little boy at play on-par with the most dastardly perjurer? the little girl playing with dolls and a doll-house on par with the common liar?

You always need fanatics. Without them, no dictatorship can last. Fulgencio Battiste, no fanatics. Fidel and Raul Castro, lots of fanatics. First dictator didn’t last a decade. Second dictators are still here. Read Hoffer.

If Romney’s elected, he will run again in 2016, and Republicans will not mount a serious challenge.

So our choice in 2012 is: four more years of obama, or eight years of Romney.

Since obama’s twice as bad, there’s no difference!

I suppose we learned nothing from all those fiction books like Goodnight Moon that were read to us as children. A book of Aesop’s Fables contains more truth than the Collected Works of Ann Coulter. A novel by Christopher Buckley has more truth in it about Washington D.C. than all the self-important memoirs of the politicians there, and the puffed up non-fiction by experts, journalists and others. But then, if your interests lie in the “truths” of the passing day, then go right ahead, read and re-read Ann Coulter’s 10 year old tomes. Who needs Shakespeare’s lies!

A well known film director told me years ago, that if I was interested in truth, I should pursue fiction writing and filmmaking, and if I was interested in lies then write non-fiction and make documentary films. He was right.

Some fiction writers do lie for a living.

I just love how folks like to expand their perception of what they think I said. "Why anyone would listen to anything he has to say outside of his profession".

Why anyone would listen to anything he (BRUCE WILLIS) has to say outside of his (BRUCE WILLIS') profession.....better?

...again...cart waaaayy out in front of the prime mover.

Rationalization of your vote for romney does not make your argument correct... in fact... things were exactly as I said that they were and regardless of what you or I do... until we cause major pain for the party... the gop/e will control every facet of future primaries and if that fails... they would rig the election machines. I do not trust any gop leaders... elected or the behind the scenes enforcers. I see very little difference in the political philosophy between the gop leadership and the dim leadership. Example... while boehner and cornyn were telling all of us extreme right wing knuckle draggers that Cut, Cap and Balance was the only plan of the table... they were meeting with and conspiring in secret with reid, pelosi and obama.

I despise them all and the sooner that we purge incumbents and elect NEW representatives to the House and Senators to the Senate... the happier I will be. Take Mississippi... a most Conservative state... cochran, wicker and palazzo are ALL DC beltway party hacks to their core. It took less than 10 minutes in DC in 2010 for trent lott to “co-opt” palazzo. When confronted... he said, “You just do not understand how DC works. I have to go along to get committee positions to bring the bacon home”. We responded, “We know damned well how DC works... you ran as a TEA Party candidate and we sent you to DC to stand with other Conservatives and to try and stop the way DC works. We sent you there... not to bring home Federal dollars... we sent you to DC to stop Mississippi dollars from going there in the first place... to cut government size and spending and to return to Constitutional governance”.

I can assure you that I voted against ALL incumbents in our primary... and I too voted for Newt. We had no other choice... mitt paid political mechanics to destroy Sarah Palin and any possibility that she could successfully mount a challenge to his ordained kingship. He spent over 100 million dollars in ads attacking Santorum and Newt. He destroyed Herman Cain... and the trails lead right back to mitt's bunkhouse.

I am now forced to vote for wicker and palazzo... cochran retires in 2014. I will vote for them but romney... no way... never... I will not vote for a progressive, gun grabbing, abortion loving, gay marriage endorsing, big dig criminal conspirator, socialized medicine loving habitual liar... that my friend will NEVER happen. You guys will have to drag him across the finish line without my help.

I am also giving to Conservative candidates and PACS... but the gop can get their ca$h from the Northeastern, Blue Blood, Country Club set... working Americans have no money left for such liars and thieves.

LLS
