The “2008” looks more like “200B.” There’s a line at the top of the numeral “8” as if BO was writing “2007” and corrected it to read “2008” instead.
You’re right—it does look like he screwed up the 8. Thank goodness Bush didn’t ever write a date 3 yrs off the correct one. Then people might have thought it was...significant. Obama does it? A big ho hum.
