Actually, wouldn’t that solve the fraternization issues? Women are intellectually capable of handling a nuclear sub. (Well, not me, math was never my strong point! But SOME women can handle it. ;o)

I think this may be an experiment worth trying.

an all woman submarine is a better idea than a coed submarine. the under water pressure and close quarters turn coed navy subs instantly into love boats. ... to the considerable consternation and unhappiness of spouses onshore.

Perhaps. But its been my observation that the first reaction of many women is to look around for a man to help them out. Its on page #1 of the Female handbook (in bold print).

I agree. Certainly solves the problem of men and women having to share bathrooms, tight living spaces, etc.

I'm sure all these young women are smart; they wouldn't have gotten this far had they not been. This will be a good way to find out if they can also handle the stress of such an assignment.
