10 to 10,000 times of you (civilians) didn’t die for this war compared to those who actually wielded the gun and went to the battlefield, for your sake.
Also, if your god (note lowercase) is a dealer in collective punishments for the sins of a few, it (note pronoun) is a false god. It does not matter whether 10 or 10,000 die. If among those even a single one was innocent and undeserving of the collective punishment through war, and your god could not discriminate to spare them, then that would be the hallmark of a false god’s impotence.
