Romney is a liberal.

In his early years he was a liberal.
In his middle years he was a liberal.
As a candidate for the Senate he was a liberal
As governor of Massachusetts he was a liberal.

Now, we’re being told he is “severely conservative.”

To believe Romney is a conservative is to lie to oneself. Any self-respecting freeper who supports Romney should at least acknowledge that they are voting for a very liberal candidate.

In my opinion, he’s a 3rd way social corporatist, but no matter what, he’s a very liberal candidate.

You are at least sticking to the points. I have no doubt that you are correct in your description. I totally agree that Romney is not a conservative.

What I have apparently been attacked for is to suggest that conservatives didn’t win this particular round. I also asserted that it’s time to grow up and continue from where we are not where we fantasized about being. As a certain conservative statesman (Donald H. Rumsfeld) once said, “You go to war with the army you have not the army you want.” This election cycle, we came up short on candidates and money against the Romney Machine. We need to take steps to insure that the rest of the ticket is more conservative and like it or not, we need to work to remove the current infestation from the White House with the “tool” we have.
I doubt this will sit well with the angry mob.
