It's a very fascinating read. Notice the diference in style to current dictator in the WH. Romney comes across as a good manager and delegates to his staff.

When reading the emails, keep in mind that he has to negotiate the bill with libs who controlled both houses of the MA congress.

Dead Ted drove him to the Chappy bridge and Mitt took the plunge voluntarily!

Willard the good manager keeps writing me letters for money. From your pockets to his campaign to our mailbox to my trash bin. There go your wages. The circle of management.

I suppose the idea of a veto did not occur to him.

Yeah, and that’s why the schmuck wants it to be a national program. At least, until he edited that out of his own book, Mormon revisionist style.

Are you from MA and have experience with Romneycare? If not, I’m not interested in your opinions.

Anyway, he has said that Romneycare wouldn’t work nationally and he will kill Obamacare.

By the way, I’ve been posting for many years and this is the first thread that I have expressed any preference for Romney over any other alternative. I think he is a very decent person and FR is promulgating a lot of lies about him, particularly his record in MA.

For instance?

Well bill, I’ll tell ya what. I am in MA, he was my governor, and yes I have experienced Romneycare. It cost this state a whole lot more jobs than he is admitting to. Many small businesses closed and left the state, those that were chains and could. Many others just went out of business. And yes it cost our hospitals a great deal too, hubby works at one, and it has affected them in more ways than one can count.

He was the Govenor. He did not have to sign any socialized medince scheme demanded by Teddy and his pals. He had a veto pen. Don’t fool yourself. He’s a progressive and wanted the State to take over the health care industry just as much as Teddy did.

Lawrence O’Donnell, MSNBC host: “Alright, come on. Come clean. You were in the room with President Obama discussing healthcare reform and you did in fact work with the Romney administration in Massachusetts. Come on Professor, you’ve got to tell us the truth.”

Jonathan Gruber, MIT professor: “The truth is that the Affordable Care Act is essentially based on what we accomplished in Massachusetts. It’s the same basic structure applied nationally. John McDonough, one of the other advisers, who work in both Massachusetts and advised the White House said ‘it’s the Massachusetts with three more zeros.’ And that’s basically a good description of what the federal bill did.”

Since the owner of the place has authored scads of those threads, why not tell him with a ping, romney apologist?

You're right, even if 100% of the legislature were for it, he still could have vetoed it and let them over ride his veto. Signing it proved where his heart was.

I think he is a very decent person

"Decent persons" don't ban guns, homosexualize the public schools and state government, and socialize medicine, complete with $50 co-pay taxpayer-funded abortions.

"Decent persons" don't promulgate judicial supremacist, anti-republican, anti-constitution, pro-choice democrat positions either, as Mr. Romney does to this day.

So, where did these emails come from?

Must have been a very selective release from Romney, since they either destroyed or hid all the digital data from his time as Governor.

Romney Admits He Destroyed Government Records To Keep Them From Political Opponents

"Last week, a Boston Globe investigation uncovered that former Gov. Mitt Romney’s administration destroyed emails, purchased hard drives, and otherwise obliterated all digital records of his time as governor of Massachusetts. This happened as Romney was leaving the state to campaign for president (the first time), and observers immediately speculated that the systematic destruction was politically motivated to hide embarrassing data."
