I hope the state does turn around. I’ve lived here all my life except for about a year and a half when I lived in Colorado (which is where I’m moving back to) and I do have a love for it. I just can’t stand watching what’s happening.
All those things you said are correct. BUT it seems an Herculean task.
The welfare state simply MUST end in Illinois and indeed in the nation. THAT is what is breaking the back of the economy. It is just not sustainable.
Totally agree with you. Herculean is the word. But, never say never. It will take time....what do you say, Illinois? It begins with the first step.
