Unfortunately, it looks like we are going to lose that senate seat. How does that effect what Walker has already implemented?

That is about as good as it gets.

I like the line "we don't have anything left other than the people standing behind me" line. I guess he forgot the caravan of buses that got them all there in their failed attempt to steal the election.

Going on the Wide World of Sports theme, after that brilliant 'Agony of Defeat' video how about a 'Thrill of Victory' clip? Enjoy -

It will be interesting to see if the GOP fights this obvious fraud. They wait until 1 am in the morning and as usual are losing all night but find a way to win by a few votes.

GOP needs to research every “new voter” who registered today. Probably at least a couple of thousand were bused in from MI to Racine.

Tie them up in recounts and charges of fraud until November.

Sour way to end the night, but as soon as the results stopped coming in, I knew what we were going to get.

Pathetic.

Do Rats still control the recount process in Wisconsin?

Racine Journal claims 98% vote in with Wangaard BEHIND 825 votes, but County site has him ahead 3000, albeit with about 10k fewer total votes.

Looks like a RECOUNT to me.

Will check back in the morning for any updates.

Goodnight all.

I live in CA and I haven’t even checked the results here from our Primary. It’s now an Open Primary, so the Republicans are as good as finished since the Top two Candidates, regardless of Party, move to the General Election.

CA is East Germany without the Wall..

Probably not at all, by itself. According to the Milwaukee fishwrap,
In November, 16 of the 33 Senate seats are up for election. But the Wanggaard-Lehman race could be significant if the Legislature returns for a special session between now and then.
So I gather a regular session ain't happening until after that.

you know more than me. but, it feels like this country was their fraud target all along. it was their most likely senate win from what i’ve read and if the state election came down to a few thousand votes, it’s plausible they could have stolen them here. that’s why i hope walker is on the case, but who knows.

With just the Senate they can’t undo what’s done, but they can block any new bills, I presume any new appointments, and otherwise gum up the works. A 2 seat Rat senate majority in Iowa has been a royal pain and IIRC one of their seats was won by less than 50 votes. The potential saving grace is there will be more senate seats up in the fall so this blockade may be short lived. I’d love to have Walker expose the presumed fraud in Racine, but I don’t think that is his style.

RACINE — With the power of the state Senate hanging in the balance, only the 21st Senate District recall election remained undecided Tuesday.

As of press time, former state Sen. John Lehman, D-Racine leads state incumbent Republican Sen. Van Wanggaard, with 34,412 votes to Wanggaard’s 33,965 votes, according to unofficial results with 58 of 60 precincts reporting.

Lehman declared victory early today, after Wanggaard had ended the evening by saying they’d look at results in the morning.

Oh, good grief.

The 21st district was one of those redrawn in the last redistricting, but this election was conducted using the old district maps.

According to a Tweet by Robin Vos just now, Lehman the ‘rat candidate LOST in the precincts that will be in the redrawn district, so he would be representing an area that didn’t vote for him, not the area that did.

This is crazy.

yeah. what a shock. they always declare victory no matter what. it’s interesting to me that the jsonline has walker with ~41000 votes and a fairly substantial lead over the dem in racine. so why the difference between him and wanggaard’s 35K? so 5000 people who voted for walker just didn’t vote for wanggaard. it’s a mystery. but i guess we’ll know more in the morning.

I just woke up and decided to get online and see how the final state senate race was going.

$#&!

Before I went to bed, I kept looking at Racine County and saying “Why the hell are they taking so long to count the ballots?”

I hope the GOP can clearly prove that voter fraud made the difference in this race.

Anyone know if voter turnout in Racine exceeded 100%?
