If you are president of the United States and you don’t have anything to say, don’t have a press conference to say it. If you’re the president of the United States and by Thursday it’s widely believed you’ve had one of the worst weeks of your presidency, take Friday off, and specifically avoid having a press conference.
Anytime you are president and you’re speaking in public at an ill-timed press conference after a bad week, try to have something to say, and do a good job in saying it. I watched the whole thing, but it’s not easy to think of one useful thing that he had to say. And what he said, he said very poorly. Was it just me, or did the president seem a little dazed and confused? He should have had a cup of coffee before the press conference.

Dazed and confused, huh? One might be tempted to think that a graceful way out of the Oval Office is setting up via an unspecified health problem. Hillary to the rescue and Obama garnering perpetual sympathy and tingling tears from Chris Matthews. Or would that be tearful tingles? Probably both.

Any bet on Obama’s big whopper “Private sector is doing just fine” going to show up on the alphabet networks and old print media?
It’ll be a real fun weekend to watch CNN/MSNBC. I predict those talking heads will double down and say Republicans ENJOY the economy downturn and President Obama’s misfortune.
Barry announced to the world that he inhaled, "uhhh, that was the point" (was that a backhand at Billy C, btw?). Have any of the "reporters" asked him when and why he stopped inhaling? Now that he can afford it, does he still do a little "blow" from time to time?

I am convinced that the press is piling on now so that they can go back to being Obama's full time cheering section after the conventions. That way when anyone points out how biased they are for Obama they can deny it and point to how hard they were on him over the summer.

i had to turn the sound off when Laura finished speaking as i couldn't listen to the wookie, but it almost looked like Laura was holding him back, from doing what i don't know
He overcame his lack of focus and uhhhs by reading off a teleprompter for every occassion. He once set it up in a elementary school classroom. He became a laughing stock and is trying to speak without it uhhh uhhh uhhh sometimes.
When he talks alot in public, the media can’t make a fake image for him and him into a brilliant scholar. People don’t like him when he is overexposed.
