So, if a State banned speech, banned the internet, banned the printing press, shuttered the churches, placed the entire population, or some disfavored parts of it, in jail cells without trial, confiscated and banned all firearms, removed all parental rights, and allowed the sick and the aged to be done away with, the national government would have no power or duty to do anything about it, right?I'd expect the shooting to be over with and a new State government being established before the feds got there. If the State did manage it, I'd expect the feds to show up asking for pointers on how they got away with it.
