Keep an eye on the words used when they try to explain the leaks away. Notice that initially they said no one was authorized to leak info. Now, they’re saying that the alleged leaks didn’t come from the White House. Both statements could be true. However, that doesn’t mean that a political ally at CIA or NSA might not have leaked with a wink and a nod.

If they are to believed then obviously they have conducted the internal investigation. Since the Rats haven't hung out any Repubs on the Intelligence Committees, it has to be one of their own they are protecting.
That is, Axelrod is confident that their hand-picked investigators will NOT show that these leaks came from the WH.
