They need dough, lots of it.
Rumors were last time some 300 mill came from the mid-east.Perhaps some of that dough dried up when the faux ben laden hit supposedly occurred,who knows.
If releasing a few state secrets that will aid terrorists causes and pry loose some dough from say the saudis who play both sides, well why the hell not. Getting caught however was never in the game plan.
