If you go back on my posts this year, my guy was Herman Cain before they “Clarence-Thomassed” him.
I also liked Michelle Bachmann until she became vulnerable to media attacks. And I would have wanted Congressman Mike Rogers to run, but he didn’t.
Herman Cain would have had an easier time winning as a candidate than Romney because he’d be like a trojan horse. Romney’s problem is he’s a “good-looking/successful/white male.”
Those issues wouldn’t have been a problem for Cain at all, so as it is Romney’s got an uphill battle to overcome the bigotry in this country against “good-looking/successful/white males.”
And no, I don’t think Palin is a good candidate at all. Loved her after her first public speech, but then it was downhill from there. She’s horribly inarticulate. Sorry, but the MSM would have too much fodder for ad hom attacks on her and it works because the masses don’t see thru their ad homs.
