Good points. My impression is that most racism left today in this country is concentrated among liberals. They are usually the only ones who throw race into the debate. I am perfectly willing to overlook an individual’s race/ethnicity and focus on their ideas and qualifications to hold a particular office, but when I do, liberals accuse me of being racist. I place no premium on an individual's race, so that makes me a racist. Sure sounds like Newspeak to me, doubleplus ungood.
