The totally incompetent Obama still polls ahead in Pennsylvania largely because the many medium-sized cities and towns there (Erie is a good example) have only one newspaper and the stridently liberal Democratic publication proselytizes to the locals on a daily basis.

The syndicated columnists appearing therein are overwhelmingly leftist and Democratic seminar writers (usually a local union chief, a college professor or a Unitarian minister) fill the Letters to the Editor section.

The majority of the readership considers itself informed because they “seen it in the paper”.

There is no way, unfortunately, that Romney can win Pennsylvania; Obama will have to lose it.

As a fellow PA resident I think you MAY be wrong. Lots of blue collar democrats are sick of his cr*p. Not that they will tell a stranger over the phone, but over a beer...yes.
