Can anyone explain how Angela Corey got re-elected a few weeks ago? She ran as a Republican, no less - who actually voted for her? How do local Republicans in the Orlando area feel about this?

Angela Corey ran unopposed in 2012, so unless she is impeached..she will remain Duval State Attorney

Real Conservatives are not happy with this case. And, I will make sure Rick Scott and Pam Bondi are primaried out in the next election. They can stop this nonsense at any time...and they are not doing so

Not only this is nothing more than appeasing racists like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, New Black Panthers, etc...this trial comes out the pockets of Seminole County tax payers...and including the speical security and arrangements for Zimmerman and all involved in the persecution. We are paying for this lynching..which our local LEOs and prosecutors rightfully determined there was no case

"Compared to her predecessor, she is much more aggressive in terms of filing criminal charges, much less likely to dismiss charges... She prosecutes every potential charge to the hilt" http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-04-10/news/31320450_1_grand-jury-michael-hallett-first-degree-murder-indictment.

She also pays little attention to PC crap about the accused having had a hard life and being the real victim. Goes for long sentences and doesn't give soft plea bargins. And she has a 90% conviction rate.

Corey is rough on roughnecks.
