Excellent point
I can’t imagine any true freeper would still not vote for Romney as a protest
let me rephrase tht
I HOPE there aren’t any freepers who would not vote for vote against Romney as a protest.
Pray God nothing happens to permit Obama to replace any Justice before January. Even Ginsburg being replaced with a 40 year old new liberal Justice is a disaster.
I’d also mention the US Attorneys. When you have a dem run state, they can be the only hope for justice. Without them you live in fear of corruption and persecution.
There will always be bitter clingers
My vote is NOT a protest. It is an endorsement and support of someone who represents my values. I have been pledged to neither party and in consideration, I see no assurance that Romney would make any different choices for the courts than Caligula would.
Death by cancer or death by a bullet? Ain’t much of a choice.
Mark 13:22
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
I think I come from a different angle on this issue. I am what some would call a ‘birther’. I believe our Constitution as stated by the Founders is quite clear, with historical records, and explicit as to eligibility for POTUSA. Obama does not pass through the eye of a needle test for this. I have spent much thought and time defending my view on this issue. If Romney chooses a VP candidate that is muddied up as to eligibility as is Obama I would have to choose between my clinging to my Constitutional first beliefs and the expediency of voting for Romney with reservations. I believe Romney has some undesirable political baggage but this baggage is nothing in comparison to Obama’s. I will wait and see how the scales of my decision balance out.
