Nobody can play JR like Larry Hagman. The ultimate in evil.

I don’t usually like remakes or sequels, but this could be fun to watch. I admit I watched the original faithfully. A guilty pleasure.

A guilty pleasure.

Same here. Should be a lot of fun. Have seen a few interviews with Larry lately and he is definitely defying his 80 years!

Mrs. abb is gearing up as we speak to watch the show. I used to enjoy it, back in the day...

Throughout the 1980’s, I had hoped that a battle between Ewing Oil and ColbyCo of Denver were started over a productive oil discovery. J.R. Ewing vs. Alexis Carrington would have been great, great television.

The original jumped the shark when Cliff Barnes bested JR in the Gulf story line. Before that JR always won.

PS: LOL @ the Tundra Torque!

Watching it now; and liking it. Surprised. They are throwing oil and gas around (methane too) of course; all measures of 'green'; but the real story; is the back-stabbing; sultry and economic 'intrigue'; the excesses - guilty pleasures - and Machiavellian 'family life' along with some authentically 'good' characters - I think. . .

Good to see the original 'survivors' as well.
