Based on her condom usage I’m amazed she has the time.

She told some stories that the right could have torn apart, but she specifically stated she was speaking for other women and not herself. And she never stated the cost of her contraceptives nor talked about her sex life.

Repeating that's like saying Trayvon was out buying Skittles at halftime of the NBA All-Star Game. No matter how many times it's repeated, it's not what happened.

She was a blowhard, but Limbaugh based his monologues on a story he read (he began the monologue by stating the source) and not on her testimony.

Conservatives blew a big chance to attack Fluke's real testimony because of the nonsense that got started with all of the Fluke=slut meme that was based on a misrepresentation of her actual testimony.

Heck, she was even introduced as a quasi-expert because of her work with reproductive rights organizations and spelled that out herself at the beginning of speech. We shot ourselves in the foot and lost the moral high ground to attack the First Amendment fallacy of Fluke's argument - that religious organizations should be forced to provide contraceptive coverage - by concentrating on a made-up story that Fluke talked about her sex life.

I would rather Limbaugh have riffed on the seven women Fluke did speak about - the married woman who couldn't afford contraception (free condoms, anyone?), or the woman who felt 'powerless' when she found out she had to pay for her own contraception (are women really like that), or the woman who didn't go to get tested for STDs after a rape because she thought her health insurance wouldn't cover it because it didn't cover contraception.

He would have knocked those out of the park.

Instead, he spend two days talking about Fluke's personal sex life - and Fluke never talked about her personal sex life. Read a transcript of Fluke's comments if you don't believe me.
