83% say they are thinking about QUITTING

Yeah..when they are at retirement age. What are they going to do if they quit now? Go out and sell cars?

Still a waiting list for med schools.

Don't get me wrong I don't like obamacare in the least but the doctors are the worst bitch and moan complainers in the world.

Not enough people ask the key question: Obama wanted to improve access to health care -- what did he do to achieve that??

He's done nothing -- in fact, made it worse. Improving access to health care would invovle things like: training for nurses, training for general practioners, training for specialists, building clinics in areas which are currently under-served. ObamaCare doesn't do any of that!

ObamaCare fiddles with bureaucratic forms, tweaks laws dealing with the insurance industry, and puts overseers behind desks.

There is no improvement in access to health care -- and the bureaucratic nightmares drives good people out of the industry, which results in LOWER access to health care.

But I guess the "experts" don't see much reason to talk about this.

They may quit in the US, but they will open up in Mexico, Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Virgin Islands, Belize, El Salvador, Guatamala, and other places that actually know how to run a government............

That was part of the plan!

The government wants to take over the health industry just like they want to take over every aspect of our lives.

Everything the government has tried has failed...but ‘some people’ do get richer before bankruptcy and those ‘same companies’ donate to left. Go figure.

Let the private industry do what it does best and keep the government out of our ‘everything’.

Those reeducation camps are merely awaiting the stroke of the Dictator’s Pen. Everything is in place for the Administration to nationalize the entire healthcare industry and render the whole idea of independent physicians or treatment for the Cabal’s enemies a thing of the past.

DEA License to prescribe and dispense supersedes state licensing. ICD-10, names every condition and treatment all it requires is for the panel to cross-match it with the “permitted” diagnoses and treatments and fee schedule.

Hey, no problem.

There are plenty of doctors from 3rd World sh!t holes who would be glad to come here and work here for cheap. Think of the money we'll save as we all benefit from our free universal health care!

Me? I just hope I get assigned one who speaks English and isn't a Jihadi...

My wife had an appointment with her internist yesterday and came home with much of the same comments from her doctor.

This really strikes home for me. A friend of my wife had a very bad experience at a Hospital in Florida. This friend doesn’t have health insurance, in itself that’s not so unusual for those who work at small businesses and are not on welfare.

Anyway she was experiencing abdominal pains and went into the emergency room and they found a mass that was in her uterus and spreading through the cervix and into the vagina. The hospital staff wanted to get her admitted and do a D&C on her. It was turned down by a “higher up” and the request for emergency medicaid was halted.

One of the Doctors was so upset about it that he told her to come to his private practice and he would treat her for free. He did the D&C, or he attempted to do it. The mass was huge. And he cleaned what he could and sent it off to pathology.

The upshot is that she believes that she was turned away with a prescription for pain-killers with the hope that she would just shut up and die in the next couple of weeks. That’s her opinion anyway and the Lab report hasn’t come back yet. But with a family history of Uterine cancer she is very afraid of the outcome.

And if the Doctor hadn’t had his own personal ethics that probably is just what would have happened and she would have just been another statistic.

My son is an E.R. Doc married to an E.R. Doc. He was in the top of his class since grade school. Doctors for the most part are very bright people. He was 30 by the time he was allowed to practice. Now if you specialize you can be from 32 to 34. He is 170K in debt and I paid for his undergrad. An E.R. Doc in our area makes somewhere in the 150’s. Not getting rich. A guy who can throw a fast ball can make 10 mil a year.
