After reading what my day is like today, how can you possibly suggest that I am not working to **fix** the problems in the nuclear family! The time spent in Costa Rica, the expense of the language school and cost of boarding with Costa Rican families, the **full** cost of supporting TWO missionary sons? Huh!
By the way, besides all that my husband and I are doing today, in about 10 minutes I will be spending more than an hour teaching two teen girls how to play the piano. These two girls, and two others, have been working at this for about a year now. They are making good progress and soon will be playing the piano for the congregation and directing the music. ( That will certain help in their self esteem and help build leadership skills.)
Verga, examine your own heart for a sliver of charity before looking to pluck a beam out of my eye.
There you go again making assertions with out proof.
Do some actual research. LBJ's "great society" had more to do with the break up of the Nuclear family than anything else. Once again don't believe me, look at the writings of William Bennett.
BTW I barely glanced at your laundry list of self aggrandizement, Reading the same old palaver ruins my appetite.
Please try to sit down and think about what you want to write enough to condense it into one post rather than rambling through multiple postings.
Socialist entitlement schooling made this possible and it began three to four generations before LBJ.
Children who attend socialist-entitlement government owed and run schools risk learning that the voting mob that gave them tuition-free schooling is powerful enough to give them LOTS of free stuff. All it took was one to three generations of socialist-entitlement government schools to give the U.S. Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt and his New Deal.
So...If socialism has caused the breakdown of the nuclear family, it was socialist government schooling that taught children to be comfortable with using the voting mob to take money from their neighbor.
What does William Bennett have to say about your opinion?
