Teachers helped schoolgirl, 15, have an abortion without her parents' knowledge (Great Britain)
The Daily Mail ^ | June 1, 2012 | Sarah Harris

Teachers helped a 15-year-old pupil to have an abortion that her parents knew nothing about.

Her mother and father finally learned about the termination when she told them after it had happened.

In line with her wishes: Teachers gave a 15-year-old schoolgirl (not pictured) time off to have an abortion without telling her parents she was undergoing the procedure (file image)

Last night family campaigners said the case showed how parents are increasingly being sidelined by the law.

It is understood that the girl went to a hospital where it was confirmed she was pregnant. In line with her wishes, doctors did not tell her parents but notified the school in Salford, Greater Manchester, instead.

Teachers discussed the termination with the girl, checking she was comfortable with her decision. They also gave her time off school and supported her when she went for the procedure.

I know this is England, but couldn’t it happen in the United States, as well?

Planned parenthood has been doing this for at least 40 years that I know of.
They especially do it if the girls are under 16.
They can take your daughter out of school and murder your grandchild and you find out afterward. If at all.

Of course.
Teachers are even frequently the ones who get their students pregnant.
Free Republic has a large cheering section for sexually predatory teachers. They think its a good thing, especially if the teacher is female.

Yes, Planned Parenthood often does this, and then violates the law by covering up what amounts to statutory rape.

Sometimes school officials have helped taken the girl to have the abortion. Sometimes the boyfriend (or statutory rapist) does it, without parental notification or consent.

Killer Sebelius was responsible for working with Killer Tiller at this sort of thing, and for blocking all attempts to enforce the law—which says that it amounts to complicity with statutory rape.

Presumably that’s why Obama made her his Health Secretary—because he admires her devotion to baby killing, violation of family rights, and covering up crimes.

I never understand the reasoning on this.

Even if you are okay with abortion, abortion is still an invasive medical procedure.

There is no other medical procedure that could be done on your minor child without parental consent.

Schools can’t even give out aspirin or tylenol nowadays without parental consent.

Yet, you can send a girl to have an invasive medical procedure without parental knowledge.

This just doesn’t make sense.

If we’re supposed to consider that abortion is simply another medical procedure, per the liberals, then why is this procedure not treated the same way as others are, when dealing with our minor girls?

Something doesn’t add up.

Well?....You need to understand Orwell’s “double think”.

Here is an example of godless, socialist-entitlement, K-12 Double Think:

Female children are mature enough find and secure a safe abortion but their parents are too stupid to know how to use a voucher for a private school.

To be fair, if the teacher is female, the student isn’t going to become pregnant.

Hogwash. Comments at FR range from insightful to mundane, serious to sarcasm, and often to humor -- be it adult, childish or locker room. I've never seen someone here "cheer" for a predatory teacher.

It does happen in the US. I have a good friend who lost her first grandchild this way. The school would never tell the parents what happened, e en when a straight A student failed out and became drug addicted because of remorse and pain over the abortion. My friend only found out after her grand holds life was ended and her daughters life ruined. Your tax dollars at work....

In the 1990’s, I worked as a secretary for a Presbyterian Church. I overhead another employee there tell how she took a young teenage girl for an abortion. The girl’s parents never knew. I’ve never told anyone this story. I wish I had reported the incident back then.

“When government does not protect the citizenry from criminals, or worse, takes the side of criminals against the citizenry, vigilantism can result. Vigilantism almost never begins as a violent movement, but finds all means of nonviolent change blocked to it. Even then it does not itself become violent until the government, often with the help of the criminals, tries to violently break up the vigilante movement, wounding or killing its leaders and members or attacking their families.”

This being said, does the action of luring a minor child for illicit purposes resulting in severe injury constitute a criminal act (though technically legal)?

Is the government supporting or encouraging this illicit act?

Is there any nonviolent recourse, such as a lawsuit against either the adults, the school district, or the abortionists, permitted by the government?

Has actual harm happened?

Depending on the answers to these questions, vigilantism can be expected against those adults involved. Typically nonviolent efforts have already failed, thus leaving no alternative but “vigilante action”.

First up: the teacher(s) who enabled this illicit act.

If you haven’t heard it, you must be skipping the threads about attractive female teachers who woo and bed male teens.

I've seen them, and about all I observe is a lot of "locker room" joking or sarcasm coupled with condemnation of either the act or a previous comment.

Many, if not most of us understand it's joking and take it in stride, it looks like some people take it all seriously. Not everyone's sense of humor is the same.
