Rove, Texas farmers, Georgia farmers, Rubio have all been looking for some solution.
I don't blame Romney for not jumping up and down, screaming about this at this point, as much as I personally would love to see the law strictly enforced. I guess, I'm thinking there are some (very few) circumstances which should be considered at the risk of looking cold and heartless to the electorate.
I don’t like it, but Romney is staying on message. And he’s staying out of a quagmire. He figures the people who are upset about this will be upset at Obama for it, and he’ll just chase hispanic votes to Obama by complaining.
Having said all that, I still don’t like it. However, I dislike Obama far less.
That's because they are not patriotic.
“I think it’s a trap set to get Romney embroiled in a immigrant hating kerkuffle.”
You bet it is. So far Romney hasn’t taken the bait.....we’ll see.
The smart move is to keep on Obama’s many failures as POTUS.
From the economy to National security and foreign relations, Obama’s presidency has been a sad joke. Time to shepard’s hook him offstage......
Farmers know what the solution involves - it is mechanization. They just don’t want to go there because of the initial expense.
It is cheaper to hire illegal aliens for seasonal work and then let the taxpayer support that population the rest of the year.
Pass laws that put farmers in prison for violating our immigration laws, and they will change damn fast!
