But the First Family is in town celebrating with friends and family. Interleague baseball has the Red Sox-Cubs baseball on FOX and ESPN this weekend. Bike rides along Lake Michigan.
This hostility must be due to budget cuts to libraries.

Sounds like a slow night by summertime Chicago standards.
That swarm of LEOs in for the ValJ shindig probably slowed things a bit.
I’m betting they can get back up to the trendline with a good Saturday night next week.

How does this compare with the previous two or three weekends? Did reassigning the police for the Jarrett wedding make a difference?

Never happened. Chicago has strict gun control laws.Ask any Leftist, whenever there is a problem, a law against said problem solves the problem.

Thanks. Looks like 3 dead last Saturday, but the site doesn’t list shooting victims who didn’t die.
