The story is somewhat sideways, giving the impression that the fence being built is somehow going to protect Israel from the Egypts. The fence is the kind we need on our southern border and is designed to keep out central and north africans. Since Sudan broke up it seems half the population is just itching to get to Israel. The Israelis regularly report on just how many African job hunter/refugee types they have to round up and now they have a regular bus route in place to haul them back to Africa. Curiously the africans don’t want to go any place else-—they’ve all heard everyone else’s econmomy is in the toilet so a job in Israel seems like a natural career move to them——so where the bleep is Jimmah Cahter and why isn’t he building houses in Sudan to keep them there?
