Gonna get Lucy out before it gets dark. Field where we walk has not been mowed in a couple of weeks, and we are supposed to be on the lookout for snakes around these parts.

Got everything watered, we are having a dry spell.
Picked zukes, 1 yellow squash. I lost 3 plants. Don’t know if it was squash bugs or water stress.
Picked 7 cukes, my first ever.. Lettuce from the garden for supper tonight.
Planted peanuts and sweet potatoes today.
Built 2 new raised beds.. Got one of them filled with soil.
Had to mix peat, compost and vermiculite. Takes 36 cubic feet to fill one.
