When I heard him the first time on the radio and for quite a ling time thereafter I always had this impression of a used car salesman, but I don’t know why.

So now I just think of him as the used car salesman of talk radio.

Beck jumped the shark by going on/off stage with body guards and a bullet proof vest at his "Restoring Honor" rally in DC, while Sarah Palin and Alveda King did not.

And now he pens a book titled "Cowards." HA!

Hopefully his network will have enough strength to pull Fox to the right or, better yet, beat out Fox, eventually.

I’m not crazy about the name. GBTV gives me the warm and fuzzies. Maybe it’s bees, “gee whiz,” the Bee Gees, or CBGB’s. Maybe he wanted to disconnect his name from the institution, but the use of his initials accomplished that. Or maybe he didn’t want to be associated with the alphabet networks.

Combine the emasculation of males in our society with fear of being labeled as 'racist', 'sexist' or 'homophobic' when blacks, females and gays hold the reigns of power and you have the perfect recipe for cowardice. Case and point, Congress' handling of Obama's and Holder's unconstitutional actions. These two are exploiting this phenomena and aren't about to stop.

I haven't read Glenn's book but this is my take on the problem.

If you were my husband, you would be taking your pillow to the couch for a couple months.

However, if you loved me and wore the stupid vest to make me happy, you would be a happy man. VERY happy. Every night. For a good long time, in many different ways.

Beck has been breaking all the rules, and getting more successful every time he does.

He left TV (big mistake because TV drives everything); he just signed a $100 million radio contract.

He started a pay-to-view website (big mistake as people won’t pay for internet content); he has over a quarter of a million subscribers paying monthly $10 fee (you do the math).

He reportedly cleared $80 million last year.

I’m not really much of a Glenn Beck fan, but you can’t deny he’s getting it done. If this is jumping-the-shark, maybe more people need to start skiing.

Beck is on the radio here two hours starting at 10:00 A.M. As far as I’m concerned it amounts to a two hour infomercial .... he’s promoting a book, or his TV show, or his latest grand project .... or just standard commercials. It’s very predictable and beginning to bore me.
