I too am an Ulsterman fan.
A couple years back I remember reading an article on FR that many at the time said was BS. It involved a former spook that mentioned the CIA and other world intel agencies wouldn’t step in until zilch stepped over some line and became a liability to the powers that be.
It said that should that time come, leaks would begin to the media and pretty much everyone would turn on him and his crew chop-chop. I don’t know if that was BS or not but it sure fits what we are seeing with leaks, the media turning (before there were NO articles against him - now they are almost common in the last couple weeks). And even Dems are slowly coming out and admitting ‘problems’
Lots of defections to the GOP at state/levels, and even today there were ‘admissions’ where before there would have been none. And lets not forget Putin.
We are seeing an ‘easing in’ to the abandonment of O by the greater Dem and global machine.
