We are on the opposite side, old, house paid for, not worth the price it should be, neighborhood going to the bad side, and we want no more debt. Both cars are paid for. Van is nearing 100K miles..it is in great shape, worth the $2K it would take to get it back up to snuff. We do keep the house up to snuff as best 2 old people can. Our retirement income is slowly being eaten away with 0's new taxes and additional cost to Tricare For Life...retired over 65 retired Military secondary health ins. Then you add in no COLA's for 2 years, and raises to Medicare premiums, food, fuel, electric, etc. and your income has suddenly nosed dived into low income, but not low enough for the government to demand MORE taxes.

We are SLAVES to the government for 6 months of the year so they can live lavish life styles. Friends don't let friends vote for RINOS!

Here in NJ Christie has been priceless in the war on taxes/government workers; many people have stopped all but emergency maintenance on homes because they don’t believe they will ever recover money invested in it.

If I owned my home free & clear I’d still spend over $600 monthly to live in it - it is a disgrace. The increases have slowed, but the taxes are already high; if something isn’t done soon to bring them down every home will have an illegal apartment inhabited by illegal aliens to pay for schools loaded with illegals’ anchor babies.
