Interestingly, the writer of that headline uses the word "back" with respect to the connection between the KKK and the Democrat Party. Though not alluded to in the posted article, there is a historical connection between the two. During its various incarnations, the bulk of the KKK's political influence - at times, such as during Reconstruction and again in the 1920s and up to the 1960s, very significant - has been within the Democratic Party.
With his list of lefty endorsements (MoveOn, Working Families Party), the "Zionist" sounds as bad as the anti-Zionist.
David Duke's endorsement of a rabid lefty reminds me of the late, unlamented, mentally unbalanced Francis Parker Yockey, author of the post-war national socialist classic Imperium. While most Jew-haters were blaming Jews for Communism (and supporting Communist Arabs) Yockey actually recognized Communist anti-Zionism and called upon his fellow Nazis to support the Communist bloc.
