Sadly, most of the discussions on the religion forum turn into insult fests between a few members. Who wants any part of that?
Perhaps that to be expected on an open forum even with the oversight of the mods but it is offputting to those of us who would enjoy debate and discussion in a civil manner.

The best way to avoid the phenomenon is to read the article and the first page or so of comments. The longer a Religion Forum stays active, the more in reduces to the usual arguments among the usual posters.

Sadly, most of the discussions on the religion forum turn into insult fests between a few members.We keep hoping that MORMONs uh, members of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints would clean up their act; but few can keep up in a debate, so they fall back on insults.
