Not to be histrionic, here, but I have tears in my eyes for these kids and the horror they must have endured at the hands of this monster. He will be taken care of in the afterlife, I’m sure.

You are not being histrionic. I have tears in my eyes too. Remember that this evil SOB Sandusky told many of these kids, “If you tell, no one will ever believe you”. These victims finally have the satisfaction that after all they endured, finally someone believed them and after all the adults in their lives that let them down, finally a jury of 12 good and decent people found justice for them. That will never get them their stolen childhood and innocence back but at least they are no longer alone and I hope this is the beginning of their long journey of healing.
