Silly Roman Catholic. Maybe you should be more sensitive about Christ than you are about your denomination.

stupid statement by someone who has denied Christ completely. While all Catholics are sinners as are all persons of every denomination, Catholics have the unique opportunity to seek and obtain forgiveness for their indescretions. Those who have completely ignored Christ by failing to follow His designated path (Catholicism), have a whole lot of difficulty in justifying their denial.

Justification by faith ALONE leaves a whole lot to be desired.

I take exception with your statement about Catholics having a "unique opportunity" to seek and obtain forgiveness for their indescretions. My Bible (and the Catholic Bible) say that ALL have sinned and ALL come short of the glory of God, and that Christ died for ALL. ALL have the same opportunity to seek and obtain forgiveness for our "indescretions."

I thank God for His forgiveness of my sin. I thank God for giving me a new life in Christ Jesus. I thank Him for saving my soul from eternal damnation. I know with full assurance that I will be with Him one day...in paradise, as Jesus told the thief on the cross. I also know that I didn't have to be a Catholic to come to this truth in my life, I didn't need to be a Catholic to experience God's redeeming love and forgiveness for my sin.

God's love and forgivness extends to ALL who call upon His name, who humble themselves, who confess their hopelessness as a sinner, who can acknowledge that there is nothing good enough that we can do to earn His forgiveness and to save ourselves. It is by His grace that we are saved, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, paying the penalty for our sin. Thank God for His love through Jesus Christ.
