One of the things that people are awfully tired of hearing is that this is his predecessor’s fault. That worked in the first few months, but in excess of 3-1/2 years later, only the most die-hard, unwavering O-Vomit supporters ae buying this line of crap. You’ve had more than three years of your policies, and they ain’t working. You promised, America gave you the job and a rubber stamp congress and all we have left to show is a trillion dollar bill.

Also, look at the total vs. “strongly” splits in the polling numbers. Only a nine percent split between total disapprove and strongly disapprove—meaning that only 9 percent of that 45 percent only “somewhat” disapprove.

The split is mush wider in approval—21% “only” somewhat approve. This means that the negative feelings are far more intense than the positive ones. Most people who disapprive do so strongly, while those approving are far more likely—by 12 points—to be tepid about it.

O’Vomitcare’s final judgement by SCOTUS this week will also be telling. The certerpiece is the indivisual mandate—which is likely to be shot down. What does it tell you about the legislation if its central pivot point is forcing people to participate in it? A decent piece of legislation would not need to force participation: People would WANT to do so.

The messiah’s plunge in populatiry this week also coincides with his assertion of ‘executive privilege” to save Eric Holder’s bacon. If there’s nothing to hide, Barry, let the document out into the light. American wasn’t fooled on that one. His boy is in trouble, can’t save his own butt, so the hero comes riding in on his steed and recues the attorney general from having to—horrors—TELL THE TRUTH!! Obviously, O’Vomit wants to avoid truth telling at all costs. If you’ve done something illegal, that would be the logical response, efter all.

From the White House’s own web site comes the following: “My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration.”

Two things here. First, almost everything he;s done is opposite of this “directive”. Expecially the health care legislation, which broke his promise to allow th American public three days to read and digest legislation becure he signed it.

Second, notice how he leads with the most important word in his little world. “My”.

Vote accordingly.

Latino pandering...

You're kidding right? Like when the Latinos at an Obama fundraiser were asked to give up their knives and forks? Slap in the face - that's what it was...

Those who vote for Romney may tell themselves that they're voting "against" Obama, but the cold reality is that they would be voting FOR turning the Republican party hard left, giving that their sanction and consent in voting for Romney, whether they meant to or not.

Awesome observation, Finny. That critical fact is at the core of what I've been trying to get across to terrified conservatives for months now.

The degraded and decrepit beings in the GOPe have already sold out any Republican (or conservative) principles they might once have held, and are now brazenly putting their considerable muscle and backing behind a candidate who represents THEM.

They well understand that they're maneuvering conservatives into a position to abandon their own principles as well, and to join them in their degradation. They are asking us to violate our own personal codes of honor, and to part with the most valuable thing that any of us has: our personal integrity.

If they can just get us to throw that away, they will have assured our final melding with the leftist Borg.

And the June BLS Unemployment Report could be another nail in the coffin.

Unemployment ticked up in May to 8.2%. That is one data point.

If it goes up again in June, that is a trend.

Will it?

I'm betting 5 to 3 that the BLS makes a big upward revision in the previous week's number and we see the claims number go "down", or at the least, stay the same. Might have to kick another 400k or so out of the job force, too.

Numbers don't lie, but fascists do.

There is no way Obama can win without a complete disintegration of the Romney campaign. That's not going to happen. So, the only hope he has is to so thoroughly demonize Romney that not all the undecideds break away to Romney. Problem there is Romney and the GOP is raising money at a crazy, breathtaking pace. They will be able to combat the assault and staunch it.

I expect that in the next few months Obama will "come of the rails" -- it will be interesting to watch. He has all the characteristics of Carter in reacting to a souring electorate. It is their fault, not his, and if he can just get them to understand his preachy, condescending message, they would realize the error of their ways and support him.

Pass the popcorn...
