Although strictly speaking those aren’t tanks (at least in the photo... I can’t watch the video with my crappy internet connection). I believe that they are more properly considered “Armored Security Vehicles” of the M-1117 type?

Tracked vehicles (tanks) have optional rubber tracks that replace metal tracks for travel over “delicate” surfaces, like airport tarmacs, parade grounds, streets...

These vehicles have wheels not tracks. They are not "tanks" as the term is ordinarily understood. They are apparently personnel carriers. Nobody drives tracked vehicles for hundreds of miles. They would never make it. I'd chalk this one up to media jerkoff incompetence.
