They would have to face that first and that's not going to happen. It would disrupt their fantasy life and they would have to take responsibility for something. And liberals never do; they mess up our country and then the grownups have to come in and try to fix everything while the liberals kick and scream and point fingers of blame; they are perpetual children never accepting responsibility yet demanding it from everyone else.
Their news reporting, talk shows, movies, TV shows and even commercials etc. are all about blame. And in order to blame the Conservative Caucasian male, they have to skew, slant and yes-lie-to make it so.
The white American male is nothing more than a convenient caricatured scapegoat (think about the Progressive Ins commercials if you will) and is a completely exceptable form of racism. And bonus points if he's a Christian.
They are guilty of everything they accuse “us” of; they are racist against white Conservatives, intolerant of Christians, heterophobic, slaves to special interest groups-especially Unions, indifferent to real suffering such as the people without jobs, they are elitist Ivy-League snobs or just plain better than you and me because they have a degree; they scream about gun ownership and crime, but have made it legal to let a woman choose to commit murder on an innocent stranger whose only crime is being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
So they can never tell the truth. Their world would cease to exist-and they like it just the way it is; they want others to do the heavy lifting, have someone to blame when things don't work and then need someone to clean up their mess so they can start all over again.
