Senator Kyl needs to do a head count in the Senate. His proposal would lose, bigtime.
Even if the House did vote Articles of Impeachment, the Senate trial would fail — just like it did against Clinton.
All such an endeavour would do is make Obama look like the victim and put him in a better position for reelection. The endeavour would be perceived as nothing more than politics as usual.
Sometimes you have to do what’s right because it’s the right thing to do.
