I’m on a very limited budget, so I shop at Wal-Mart for the lowest prices and I buy their Great Value brands as much as possible. But, every once in a while, I indulge in a package of Oreos, instead of the cheap knockoff brands. Many years ago, I remember being amused when my vegetarian cousin told me how disappointed he was he had to give up Oreos because they were made with animal fat. Well, move over, cuz, I’m about to join you.

Aldi Stores sell a house brand of “oreo” cookies which are really, really good. My family has a hard time telling them from the originals.

Of course Aldi is German. Whether they’re lined up behind the Gay Lobby I’m not sure.
