” 1. Each month recipients are issued a food balance AND ready for it... a CASH balance. Yes,thats right CASH. No way to regulate how that is spent.”
Partially true. They have to apply for cash in addition to food stamps. If they do receive cash, they have to participate in the welfare transition program(volunteer 30hrs per week at say, Goodwill). They don’t automatically get cash, and they’re not supposed to be sitting on their ass.
Do you live in IL? Because I have a VERY hard time believing that any of the people I saw do that. EVERY SINGLE person has a cash balance without exception. You mean to tell me that they are all participating in this program? I don’t buy it.
Where do you get this information?
Trust me. Very.. very.. very FEW people getting cash are working 30 hours a week ANYWHERE.
There are requirements but they are so low it’s not even funny.
Those of us that hire people see them all the time. They will come in and apply for a job you can tell they have no intention of accepting. One of the requirements is you have to actively be looking for work.
No problem. Just apply for jobs your not qualified for, or blow the interview.
