At least three Democrats have joined the ranks of Republicans planning to vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt over his refusal to turn over Operation Fast and Furious documents.
The Democrats who have taken that stance so far are all conservative-leaning lawmakers facing perilous political circumstances in their home districts. Republican Rep. Darrell Issa, who is leading the charge on contempt, predicted to Fox News that up to 31 Democrats could be considering voting against Holder -- in reference to a letter signed by 31 Democrats last year expressing concern about Fast and Furious.
Sources told Fox News that about 20 Democrats are likely to vote with Republicans on Thursday.

You can probably Hochul to that list
You can probably add Hochul to that list
100 democrats could vote for comtempt and it would still be “racist republicans on a witch hunt”.
“AG Eric Holder has thumbed his nose at the United States Constitution and his sworn oath to protect and uphold it.”
Amen, he is absolutely the worst head of the DOJ that I can even imagine! That this crooked (and racist - just look at the non justice of the voter suppression thugs) fellow is in charge of our law enforcement actually strains credibility! I think that he alone has set back law enforcement several years - not just federally, but states also. They tend to follow federal law and it has had a horrendous effect on state law.
1. If he is held in contempt in the House of Representatives can request that the U.S. Attorney Generals office convene a Grand Jury to decide if Eric Holder should be prosecuted.
2. But the Grand Jury cannot convene because Obama has invoked Executive Privilege.
3.Next step. A civil action is brought in the D.C. Federal District Court. Said Court will demand that Holder produce a schedule of all documents pertaining to Fast and Furious. (around 85,000 doc.s) As to each document the Justice Department is required to explain why it is protected by at least one of several executive privileges invoked by Obama.
4. The schedule cannot be completed by the November election. Assuming that it would take Holders department a day to address them documents it will take 8500 days to complete the schedule; then it would be ready for review by the district court in 23 years.
Holder's department will not do any of that...they will in fact continue to stonewall with the help of Obama's Executive Privilege. With hold your votes for your congress critters until the demand for Holder to be fired ASAP is accomplished. Show some real spine Americans!
I predict this...
If Holder and Bozo try to stonewall up to the election the Whistleblowers will release the emails and directives to the ATF/Border Patrol ground pounders to the public thru a Canadian or European Website.
And all hell will break loose.
I predict...
If they continue to obstruct, copies of those emails and directives will make it into the public view...all before November.
Then watch em squirm.
So be it. Continue on anyway!!!
I honesty think that the only ones who will not vote for contempt is the black caucus....any other democrat who wants to hold their seat had better vote for it because once the truth comes out it is over for those who voted against.....
ROFL!
:: And all hell will break loose. ::
I would only go so far as to predict Holder will be served in a wrongful death suit by families Zapata and Terry when the emails are revealed; leaked or properly released.
The only question, right now, is whether to include the POTUS in that summons.
Holder should be in Mexico getting tried over there too.
Looks like 20 Democrats found a way to obtain some freezer money from Obama?.
“Holder should be in Mexico getting tried over there too.”
You have that exactly right! Hand them over to the Mexican AG, along with an apology for disrespecting their sovereignty, murdering their citizens, and brutally murdering their cartel prosecutor in Chihuahua.
Offer Holder and Obama to their justice system with our sincere condolences and in the spirit of our respect to their justice system.
