I would like to hear some updates from CoSprings FReepers on the fires. The SCOTUS ruling has drowned out fire coverage here. We vist the Springs regularly and are concerned about the AF academy, Woodland Park, Garden of the Gods, and Manitou Springs.

We have a lot of friends and relatives in the Springs so I've been watching this one closely. Best map of the fire and evacuation areas is here: http://www3.gazette.com/fire/

Also consider going here: http://www.kktv.com/news/wildfires/headlines/WATCH_Firefighter_Explains_Map_Of_Waldo_Canyon_Fire_160254815.html

as this page has good instructions for using the GeoMAC viewer (http://www.geomac.gov/index.shtml) which gives you fine-detail thermal imaging of the fire.

After that, there are some good resources in links on this page: http://techland.time.com/2012/06/29/how-to-track-the-colorado-springs-waldo-canyon-super-fire-and-others/

Manitou Springs seems to have been spared, as the fire is moving east and north. Woodland Park is in the evacuation area but looks like it's going to be okay. The Air Force Academy is threatened.
