the 26 or so states bring up articles of secession and threaten secession from this pile of shit and get OUT of the union.

The state house(s) is where relief from Federal tyranny will come. It always has been thus. I want out of this empire.

Sic semper tyrannis

If big 'T' makes a break for it I want to come and help. You're not going to start a party like that without me! Just don't assume those coming in are all hostile. We need an IFFF system.

You would not beleive all the secession bumper stickers we are seeing now in east Texas now. If we could get the entitlement crowd out of this state, this would be Consevative Heaven.

WHEREAS, the majority of the Court found that Obamacase was only constitutional through the taxing authority of Congress;

WHEREAS, the President through his own words and spokesperson continues to this day to deny there is a tax provision;

WHEREAS, the denial not withstanding, Obamacase through its taxing authority raises revenue yet DID NOT ORIGINATE IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES;

WE PRAY the Court rehear the case and strike down Obamacare as it does not meet the criteria laid out in the majority opinion.

IOW:

ROBERTS: the only this thing works is if it is a tax.

OBAMA: it is not a tax

ROBERTS: then it doesn’t work

Good..I trust you and your friends will push your state people to go forth then?

Get them on the horn to your state legislators!

It need not be violent..that would be left up to the other side. And I doubt it would even get that far. They’d start with the “What’d we do?’ BS and then whine and cry.

Remember...we DO NOT NEED THEM, but they need us.

I’d sooner kick the M effers the hell out of the union..the northeast states and the west coast and Ill etc. But it’d be easier to split and stand back and watch them go right down the shit hole they created for themsleves.

I never meant to imply that the chances are good for a rehearing; just that there is a rule governing one. Maybe those two weeks in Malta will clear his head.

If any F***ed UP DEcision by the SCOTUS ever needed and required a Rehearing, this One sure does!! Was Roberts caught smoking some of Obama’s Crack Cocaine?

What makes you think Roberts believes his ruling was erroneous or would admit to such?

And risk having Boy Wonder stomp into your chambers ranting and raving again threatening whatever it was that turned him in the first place? No, once a turncoat, always a turncoat. He can never be trusted to do right by the founding fathers, the Constitution or the US citizen again. He's now worse than Kagan & Co. because at least we knew what we were getting with them.

The fix was in. Not much of a chance of anything happening. We have lost our Constitution to communists thinking jackasses who have America by the gonads. By the time in January it could be stopped with Romney, if he makes it, America would be unrecognizable.

Exactly. This will go nowhere.Obamcare was probably bought and paid for and at least some of the scotus judges including Roberts now appear to be corrupt as well. Add in those that are ideological shills for the left or right and you have a true gang of 9.

“Be it known, that the undersigned sovereign states do hereby declare our intent to remove ourselves from the union known as the United States of America.”

Not to rain on your seccession parade, but don’t you think it best to have some muscle on standby?

South Carolina has two active state-sponsored militia battalions ready to go. These are trained militia with weapons and a command structure. These battalions are not state guard subject to federal command. I’d guess the state could call up another two divisions in a short time.

Where does your state stand? How many battalions can it muster?

Oh, I also agree with you that the federal gestapo are a joke as a fighting force. The ATF is nothing more than a federal Himmler eisengruppen who attack women and children for the purpose of instilling fear in the population. One meeting on a battlefield against these fat 300-lb tubs will take care of them.

One does not throw the first stone. You declare first, and then wait for the response. Then if the response is not what is admirable, then the next step. In the meantime you prepare for the worst, in that I agree.

The muscle you mention was tried before and it did not work to well. Without a doubt, if this declaration was put forth, the present administration would blink..cowards do that. And this POTUS is a coward. There is a big difference between the last war between the states and now. Back then men had backbones, not so much today. Another difference is that this time it is basically the rural folks VS the city. Not a shot need be fired. Think, before you act. The whole thing could be over in a year without as much as a drop of blood shed.

One more thought Dave..you might be surprised to find that they feel that we are a burden to them and have no qualms about us leaving. All the better! If they want to go their own way so be it.

But first, you must declare your intentions. That is what the Declaration of Independence was. It was a declaration of intentions outlining grievances against the crown and the reasons we no longer wanted to be part of it. The Brits made a big mistake reacting the way they did, and many in the UK did not want their government to react the way they did. The rest is history.

I predicted this way back in 2000. I can see nearly no way this nation can remain a union any longer. I would advise to wait till after the next election though.

Tax has already begun. Medical devices and OTC drugs that were once prescription are now taxed.

Here is the kicker. My 80 year old father received a letter in the mail today from his insurance company asking him to validate that he is a diabetic. Something to do with the lancettes used, which is now taxed as a medical device.

My dad has been with the company over 40 years and been using the same supply house for his syringes and stuff for 30 years. This is just the start of it....

I agree with your opinion. It’s a good thing to declare your intentions. But after your intentions are made known in a situation such as this, it would be a good thing to be ready for a reaction.

The Founders set up Committees of Safety to deal with King George’s atrocities and his Tory henchmen. These preparations included armed militias sponsored by the Continental Congress. It would behoove us to be likewise prepared. The Founders left a blueprint for us to follow. I don’t think we should stray too far from that plan because it worked.

Cheers, FRiend.
