GOP House leaders said Sunday they will forge ahead with efforts to repeal President Obama’s health care law, drawing criticism from Democratic lawmakers who said Americans want them to instead go forward with efforts to improve the economy.

“We’re going to do it one more time,” House Speaker John Boehner said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

The GOP-led House has attempted to repeal the Affordable Care Act numerous times and is scheduled to take up the issue again July 11, less than two weeks after the Supreme Court ruled the law was constitutional.

The plan is apparently to go into the November election by being able to say "We have passed the repeal of Obama 2 or 3 times in the House of Representatives, but Obama and Harry Reid have blocked us. Let's elect the White House and Senate into Republican hands, and we'll get the job done."

Some day, Americans are going to have to extract their heads from their butts and figure this game out. Nothing really gets done anymore because that just means the loss of a campaign issue.

The only thing I can think of at this point that “might” work is term limits. However on the flipside, it sure seems that our term limited legislators are doing all the damage they can do on the way out in Michigan.

“We’re going to do it one more time,” House Speaker John Boehner said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

Not good to give up your hand so visibly. What he is essentially saying is we'll go through the motions just one more time and then we'll stop. How idiotic is that? If he really believed in this he should have said "we will continue to work to repeal ObamaCare until it is repealed or Hell freezes over".

I think he means one more time before the election. Remember, it is only 18 weeks until we can fire Obamugabe.

“We’re going to do it one more time,” House Speaker John Boehner

Good idea. Now that the bill has passed and people are learning what's in it, we can get all the democrats who still support it on record.

The democrat base will have all those who do not support it on record. The democrat politicians will be put between a rock and a hard place. Please the freeloaders and...... lose their jobs via the elections, or do the right thing and..... loose their jobs via the far left wing radicals.

It’s a safe thing to do, so he might actually do it.

What’s the point of voting for a repeal? It then goes to the Senate where they either shoot it down or don’t vote on it at all.

I am SOO sick of this!!

Well, at least it forces the killers of liberty out of the closet and into full view for all.

Yeah right. Speaker BoneHead is a REAL profile in courage isn’t he? Hold a vote he knows will go absolutely nowhere in reality. Tell you what, Mr. Speaker - attach the repeal to something the Senate HAS to vote on. Do something with a spine..for once.

Exactly. Besides, I don't see how their hearts can really be in it when it doesn't affect them because they're already exempt. It's been at least decades since we've had elected representatives of the caliber of those who said "Give me liberty or give me death", and the current crop even less so. Most of them are just the other wing of the globalist party or in it for their own personal power and ambition. The whole condition of modern politics makes it neccesarily so.

Just look at how we had to lean on our side in Congress to keep them from passing blanket amnesty. I know that issue will return. Just like the left doesn't give up on homo marriage until they've gotten their way, whatever it takes and no matter how many times it takes.

Glad my faith is elsewhere than in politicians. This country is soon to be no longer significant in world history.

Yep. There are 6(?) democrats not going to the democrat convention because they're in a close race already. Let's see how they vote on Obomatax now!
C'mon you 6 - are you in favor of massive tax increase designed to fund new massive entitlement program - or not?

One of the worse days in our nations history will be McConnel as Majority Leader in the Senate with Boehner as Speaker of the House, we need to get rid of them both in this process.

I read the title and thought, "Ryan , maybe. But Boehner....no way, not a chance." One of the biggest mistakes the GOP made after Obama was elected was to put Boehner in charge of the house. To me he's not too far off from Nancy in drag (or whatever they call it when women dress like men).

Besides, things like this (AHC, aka ObamaCare) almost never go away.

I'm with you. I can only look out for my own soul and pay hard for America but its not looking good. Even here at FR I'm seeing posters trash the founders and calling for a dictator.
