July 3, 2012 Romney Campaign Declaring Cease Fire on Health Care Posted by Staff
In the aftermath of the Supreme Court health care ruling, the early conventional wisdom was that an unfavorable health care ruling at the court would be good for Republicans politically, even as it was a serious policy setback for conservatives. But that's not shaping up to be the case. Mitt Romney, after giving a brief statement decrying the decision, has been virtually silent on criticizing the health care law. He's been on vacation and his campaign has been giving off clear signals that it doesn't want to make health care a major part of the election.
His senior adviser, Eric Fehrnstrom, went on MSNBC Monday and ended up agreeing with the Obama campaign's spin that, even though the Supreme Court declared the individual mandate a tax, it really still is a penalty. Significantly, his campaign appears to want to take the most potent argument against the president on the health care subject off the table, likely out of fear the Romney himself is vulnerable when it comes to his health care record. He, after all, supported a mandate as governor of Massachusetts, and doesn't want that to be considered a tax, either.
What did you do on those campaigns you worked on, empty the trash and run for coffee? The idea is to WIN first and then bring change. But you cannot bring change without FIRST WINNING and the votes went AGAINST our other candidates. The primary is OVER, get it? Now is not the time to assassinate the nominee because you are pissed off he won.

What the voters have handed us is a poor substitute but anything is better then what we have and if we can also get the Senate then no one would say we weren’t immeasurably better off.

The dims do this very successfully. They take what they can get and keep advancing the ball. When obamacare was upheld they didn’t cry about not getting a commerce clause ruling. Piglosi just said call it whatever you want, THE BILL IS NOW LAW.
It is time for a Tea Party revolution. We don’t need anymore watered down rinos such as the McCains, Romneys, Boehners, Snowes. We need more Gov. Walkers.

Then we work like hell to force him right THEN we maybe work at replacing him in 4 yrs but without risking losing to the libs. When the Supremes came down with their decision, Laura rec’d on air that Mittens come out with a statement before Bam’s. And that’s what happened. She claimed with a sigh of relief that she was glad that the Rom. camp was “listening”.

Laura assumed, probably erroneously, that the campaign advisors had a direct line open to her show. Could it be that they would come to the same “duh” conclusion themselves..ie to beat out Hussein was a wise move?
Next day she blasted Willard on air for taking the day off and suggested that he should be out making noise about Roberts.,,,to deaf ears.
It sounds like she got peeved that they didn’t take her advice and then came out with this opinion piece.
