The social networking sites co-founder Chris Hughes was one of the first to use the new image after he married his partner on Saturday. Facebook has added new marriage icons depicting same-sex marriage for its timeline feature.
One of the new blue cake topper icons features two grooms, while another features two brides.
Previously, adding a timeline milestone of marriage would produce an image of a heterosexual couple.
Facebooks co-founder, Chris Hughes, was one of the first people to use the new icon when he married his longtime partner, Sean Eldridge, on Saturday.
This is just the latest step in Facebooks marriage equality efforts. In February 2011, Facebook added In a Civil Union and In a Domestic Partnership options to user profiles. In June, Facebook became the first social media company to be honored with an award at the GLAAD Media Awards.
Facebook is following in the progessive footsteps of Apple, who, in June, revealed that the iPhones new operating system would have emoticons, or emojis, that depict gay and lesbian couples for the first time.
Maybe it should be renamed Buttbook....
Instead of reading “married” it should say “perverts”.
how about fudgebook?
There are more than 30 states where Sodomite Marriage is strictly against the law.
We need to get law enforcement officials in those states to cull through Facebook pages, find the all the gays and lesbians who are married and arrest and prosecute them.
People whose faculties are working properly don't need to debase the language and invent fantasy definitions to justify their worldviews. No such constraints in PervertTown.
What about multiple spouses?
somehow, finding out that the co-founder of facebook is homosexual really doesn’t surprise me.

Did he marry the head guy of Apple?

Excellent!
I don’t think this is cute or funny at all. This is an AFFRONT to our American God-ordained TRADITION, and now our kids will be seeing that this is okay (it is NOT okay!!!), and on par with man-woman marriage.
No it’s not cute and not funny and why I posted it was a reminder as to the grave threats to our nation. If one candidate gave us Obamacare without “gay marriage” and the other gave us no Obamacare but promised gay marriage, I’d happily choose the Obamacare and a return to traditional morality. This marriage issue and abortion trump all the economic and foreign policy issues put together.
